WHY JOIN WACA?

Belonging to the association creates an amplified voice to advocate for industry needs. WACA represents contractor members at the local, state, and national levels of government; advocating for issues and monitoring legislation to protect members, and the union construction industry in general. WACA keeps members informed on current and future labor and regulatory compliance important information as it becomes available. Members stay up to date with safety standards, business and technical practices through educational workshops, training, information sharing and forums. The association provides a variety of networking opportunities to build relationships and create opportunities. Through events, members form partnerships, exchange ideas, and share expertise with business owners, fellow professionals, and industry leaders.

 Technical Assistance

The Wall and Ceiling Bureau (WCB), WACA's technical department, offers com­plimentary assistance with project inspections and recommendations.  BIM CUBE Technology

Now available for members and industry partners, WACA's state-of-the-art Building Information Modeling (BIM) CUBE is located at our office at 5726 Sonoma Drive,  Pleasanton. The BIM CUBE is a three-dimensional interactive digital model, able to project on 20-feet by 13-feet walls using a 1:1 human scale. This new approach permits users to collaborate more effectively, making changes in real time and instantly seeing results, providing latest versions of designs to avoid costly rework.  Safety Services

 Onsite & Virtual Training Center

The new training center at 5690 Sonoma Drive (next door to the WACA administration building) is available for remote and socially distant in-person meetings. It can be used for team building, meetings, online classes, and trainings with a classroom capacity of 75 onsite people. Upgraded meeting technology with multiple VIVO television screens optimize viewing experience and participation.
